The Kids Minister at Venture Christian Church is a vitally important part of helping children know Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience the church as a place where they are loved, known, and discipled.
This role requires someone who loves to use their gifts of organization, communication, and training to build a dynamic Kids Ministry at Venture.
At Venture, our mission is empowering one another to journey with Jesus every day. We believe children are not simply the future of the church; they are part of the church right now. This role is vital to helping us create safe, joyful, gospel-centered environments where kids can come as they are and become who they’re meant to be in Jesus.
The Role
The Kids Minister will do a lot of work behind the scenes to help build a healthy, sustainable, and disciple-making Kids Ministry from the ground up. They will work to build and organize our volunteer teams, create systems and policies for healthy ministry practices, and keep both volunteers and parents up-to-date on pertinent information related to Venture Kids.
The Kids Minister’s primary job is not to do all the ministry, but to build the team, systems, environments, and culture that help children be discipled and volunteers be equipped.
The Kids Minister will work to onboard and train volunteers for continual growth in the ministry.
This is a part-time position.
Because this is a part-time role in a church plant, the Kids Minister will focus on building simple, scalable, and sustainable systems that can grow over time.
