Worship Minister
Whiting Christian Church is seeking a full-time Worship Minister who is passionate about helping people encounter God and grow in their response to Him.
This role centers on leading engaging, Christ-centered worship while investing in volunteers and helping shape meaningful Sunday gatherings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and lead weekly Sunday worship services
- Collaborate with the Lead Minister on service flow and direction
- Recruit, train, and disciple worship and tech volunteers
- Oversee audio, visuals, and livestream for Sunday services
- Help create worship environments that are participatory and theologically grounded
Additional Ministry Opportunities:
Based on gifting and passion, this role may also include involvement in:
- Student Ministry
- Communications (graphics, social media, website)
- Outreach
- Discipleship
Who You Are:
- A growing follower of Jesus with a heart for worship
- A relational leader who invests in people
- Musically capable (vocal and/or instrumental)
- Organized, dependable, and collaborative
- Comfortable with (or willing to learn) worship and production technology
