Position Description:
We are seeking a full-time lead pastor/minister who is gifted in preaching and teaching God's Word, providing compassionate pastoral care for our members, and facilitating church growth and outreach to the community. Candidates for this position should have strong organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to speak the truth boldly with love, and unwavering conviction to bring the lost to Jesus. A bachelor's degree in the field of ministry is preferred.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Sermon preparation and preaching for Sunday service
- Coordinate the Sunday service with the worship minister
- Willingness to teach/facilitate Sunday School, Bible studies, prayer meetings, and/or small groups
- Providing pastoral care to the members, including hospital visits
- Supporting and encouraging church participation in community events that are aligned with our values
- Building relationships with community leaders and businesses
- Organizing and facilitating outreach events to provide opportunities for getting to know the residents in our vicinity
- Oversee church staff
Salary range: $55,000 to $75,000 commensurate with experience
