Worship Leader

New Galilee Christian Church is an established church which is pursuing its community with the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and seeking to connect them to God, to others, and to their purpose. We are focused on making disciple-makers in order to grow our church spiritually. You can see more about our church at www.newgalilee.org.

We are looking for our next worship leader who will:

1. Lead our Sunday worship services and practices in a way that inspires our church and worship ministry.
2. Develop a culture of worship in our church family that draws us into God’s presence.

Description

Qualities:

• Actively engaged in following Jesus and open to discipling other followers
• Seeks to be lead by the Holy Spirit
• Passionate about heartfelt worship and desires to help others experience it
• Enjoys working with a team to plan services
• Wants to be an integral part of our church
• Open to opportunities to preach
• Seeks to build relationships with our church families

Responsibilities:

• Fully own and promote the vision and mission of our church
• Plan and lead compelling worship services each week
• Hold practice with worship team members during the week
• Develop volunteer worship team
• Work with pastor and media team leader to plan services
• Participate with Leadership Team to understand church dynamics and help lead us to become the church God wants us to be
• Work closely with pastor to plan direction of services and messages
• Preach a few times during the year

Compensation:

This is a paid part-time position and will be discussed during the hiring process.
