Senior Minister

Qualifications:

• Meets scriptural qualifications of a shepherd as defined in 1 Timothy 3:1-7
• Degree from Christian Bible College preferred
• Able to lead and inspire spiritual growth in a multi-generational congregation
• Collaborates well with elders, deacons, and ministry teams
• Communicates with clarity and compassion, both from the pulpit and in personal settings
• Practices believer's baptism by immersion
• Approachable, relational, and genuinely cares for people
• Able to buid connections with both older members and younger families
• Willing to live in or near the rural community to be present in the life of the church and town

Responsibilities:

• Plan service for Sunday morning worship, Wednesday evening worship and special services as scheduled by the Board
• Collaborate with worship team to lead a meaningful and blended worship service
• Visit sick, shut-in and prospective members
• Teach Sunday School, if needed
• Coordinate Sunday School teachers and oversee ordering Sunday School materials 
• Work 5 days per week for church related duties, including office hours, visiting, involvement in the community, counseling and other duties as defined by the Board
• Ensure worship remains Christ-centered, Spirit-led and welcoming to newcomers
• Maintain online presence via blog and social media

Terms:

• 30 day notice required by minisgter or Board to terminate employment
• 14 days of PTO (paid time off)
• Allocation for housing and insurance included in the salary amount offered
• Considerationsw for salary adjustments will be made by the Board in December of each year for the upcoming year
