Garden City Church is a passionate and Spirit-led church plant in Columbia, Missouri. Now six months into their journey, the church has already gathered a diverse and growing community with a shared hunger to encounter God and be sent out for His mission. Led by Pastor Luke Hettinger (Vennard Bible College '03), Garden City is marked by a warm relational spirit, a deep desire for God’s presence, and a flexible, missional approach to church life.
Role Summary:
Garden City Church is actively seeking a worship leader to join their growing church family. Currently led by Pastor Luke, the church is ready to raise up someone passionate about worship to lead Sunday morning gatherings. Whether you're a student seeking experience, a worship leader looking for a place to serve, or someone interested in being part of a new church work, this is a unique and flexible opportunity to grow and contribute.
Key Details:
- Service Time: Sundays at 9:30 AM
- Set-up begins at 6:30 AM, rehearsal around 7:15–7:30 AM
- Tear-down concludes around 12:00 PM
- Current band includes: keys/bass, cajon/bass, electric/acoustic guitar, and female vocalists
- The church is portable and sets up/tears down each week
- Flexibility is key in this season of church planting
