Through church partnerships, campus ministry, and online coaching, we equip students to share their faith and reach their peers for Christ. Our vision is for every student to hear the gospel before graduation.
Position Overview
The Donor and Data Specialist supports donor relations, database management, finance, and development operations to ensure accurate records, effective donor communication, and smooth fundraising activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage donor pledges, tax statements, ministry compliance surveys, and annual ministry updates.
- Support advancement team meetings, task tracking, and quarterly and year-end reporting.
- Maintain accurate donation records and correct contribution errors.
- Coordinate with Finance to verify weekly donation batches and resolve donor requests or returned tax receipts.
- Assist with fundraising and event invitations, mailings, and segmented communication lists.
- Analyze giving trends and evaluate the return on investment of fundraising appeals and events.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Google Docs and spreadsheets; QuickBooks and Virtuous experience preferred.
- A quick learner, dependable team player, and person of high integrity and spiritual maturity.
- An evangelical Christian who loves Jesus, the gospel, and evangelism.
Compensation & Support Raising
This is a part-time position with potential to become full-time as responsibilities grow. Staff participate in fundraising by inviting churches, friends, family, and other supporters to invest in the ministry. Decision Point provides training, coaching, and ongoing support throughout the process.
Additional Details
- Remote position.
- Occasional travel for mission trips, ministry events, training, and organizational gatherings.
